Small bathroom floor plan
Try a 2.4 m by 2.1 m bathroom shell to compare the position of a bath or shower, basin and WC. This is a layout exercise; replace the starting measurements with those of your room.
Your starting room, already furnished

How to approach this layout
Begin with the existing soil connection and the window position. Add the actual footprint of each proposed fitting, including projecting handles and screens. Review the room from the doorway in 3D as well as checking the plan, because overlapping fittings can be difficult to judge from symbols alone.
What to measure and check
- Measure service boxing, recesses and window sill height.
- Check the door swing against the basin, WC and towel storage.
- Allow for shower screens and doors in their open position.
- Use manufacturer dimensions for the exact products, including installation allowances.

A useful comparison to make
Compare a bath layout with a shower layout while holding the existing service positions constant.
From starting size to a plan you can discuss
- Open the furnished example and adjust its dimensions to match your measurements.
- Move the example door and window to their measured positions. Replace or resize the furniture to match the items you own or plan to buy.
- Compare your alternatives in plan and 3D. Save your local project file so you can return to it.
