How to approach this layout
Start with the existing sink and service positions marked on your plan. Compare a single run with an L-shaped arrangement of cabinets, keeping the same room shell in each option. The template includes example fittings; replace them with your own cabinets and appliances after checking their actual sizes.
What to measure and check
- Measure each wall between finished surfaces and record boxed-in pipes separately.
- Note the distance from each corner to the door, window and service connections.
- Model appliance doors open as well as closed to see where they interrupt movement.
- Check the available worktop beside the sink and hob against the way you prepare food.
Help with this room
A useful comparison to make
Compare usable preparation space and appliance access, rather than the number of cabinets alone.
From starting size to a plan you can discuss
- Open the furnished example and adjust its dimensions to match your measurements.
- Move the example door and window to their measured positions. Replace or resize the furniture to match the items you own or plan to buy.
- Compare your alternatives in plan and 3D. Save your local project file so you can return to it.
